I see no value in having Mortimer on the bench. I would prefer to have Tasi there. TR obviously thinks otherwise.

Mortimer is our weakest link, I watched his dummy half play last night and it is just too slow, he takes 2 steps then passes, 2/3 times that left mitch with little or no time to kick putting the side under great pressure, I'd give Nafe Seluini a go, he added spark to the side when given a chance of the bench last year

I agree mate, he was ordinary at the jets imo Seluini stood out more. I have watched a couple of games with finch playing for the sharks and as hopeless as he is he shines and stands out puting players through at will. It says alot to me about morts.
I would prefer the extra forward which is a weakness for us.

If Morts doesn't sit on the bench then Jake has to play 80min and I'm not comfortable with that. He was getting really lazy after about 55min and if he stayed on any longer I think he would have started giving away more penalties and making shit decisions with the ball.
Until Bosden finds his feet at 9 with the jets then its either Sel or Morts. At least with Bosden he can play tight or on the edge aswell, he will cover more positions then both those two.
The other point is if we get more out of our bench forwards when Moa JWH and FPN are off them we can carry Morts or Sel. Just my thoughts begin the verbal harassment if you would like
