  • They were thinking about next friday..

That whole second half was a team that had their eyes on the next game..

We obviously should've won that game, but i'm not too disappointed..

We showed enough in that first half & had no luck in the second half..

I doubt they will drop their guards again in next weeks blockbuster..

I'm as happy after a loss as i'm ever going to be..

    Bring on those mangy dogs..

    Go Easts..

I agree to an extent. I think had they won tonight they certainly would have become complacent against the Bulldogs this coming Friday. In saying that, there is no excuse for a poor performance next Friday now.

        I don't know mate.

I just thought we were off the pace the whole night.

Marker defence and wrestling was a disgrace.

if they had of turned up tonight and played solidly there would have been a good portion of the NZ team from the chooks.

          maybe a blessing in disguise..

            Well I am BITTERLY disappointed.

A team with aspirations of making their mark in the end of season games should never let a team beat them after leading 16 nil at half time.

We blew it,but we didn't get pumped & we really just went into our shells in that 2nd half..

Plus Canberra stopped dropping the pill every time they got it..

Plus SKDumb was back to his old tricks..

Having Cordner out for the majority of the game was a real drain on the team, they looked absolutely exhausted as of 60 minutes, the extra bench player would have helped. As someone said last week, we were never going to win our first 6/7, a win tonight would have meant a loss next week or the week after. Looking for a big performance next week, but SKD has to go
I support two NRL teams, the Roosters and whoevers playing Souths

you blokes are kidding yourselves...if you can see positives from that then you would see positives from having Charlie Manson over for dinner

...we will get smashed next friday....we are far from being semi-final team. We've belted a few chump teams , all of a sudden " we have eyes for next weeks game " ...we have beaten bottom 8 teams...thats it .

                  Stop kidding yourselves.

That was disgraceful...next week will be a night to forget unless Robbo works some magic.

It's really a bench of two when we carry Mortimer in a situation like that. He can't come on and change the tide at all.

                      I call BS horrie.

Two things lost it for us today:

                      Mini

                      and

                      SKD.

Two very ordinary footballers in a team of superstars can lose you matches. PLOD was no standout either. And for all the RTS doubters, under the highball, against a giant in Edrick Lee, RTS took some screamers which mini could only dream about.
                      Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

unless we are winning the ruck morts wont do a thing when he comes on.

SKD really needs to go. how long will robo persist???????

The difference between the two halves was that Canberra completed 100% of their sets in the second 40 minutes when they completed I believe less than 50% in the first half. You can not compete at NRL level when you complete less than half of your sets. Their forward pack had dominated us all night but they spilled the ball more often than not.

I do not believe that next round had an impact on their second half collapse.

I couldn't agree more, no energy it's like they partied hard the night before. Friend, Kennedy laying all over the ruck, defence not meeting attack at the ad line, we really missed Cordner when he came off as Kennedy is soft and slow. Bad attitude, bad discipline and poor choices led to our loss. It seems Robinson hasn't fixed our not showing up to games we are supposed to win attitude.

Criminal not to leave with two points in that game.

They would of come very handy come the back end of the season.

These are the games you have to put away.
