Also safe with ball in hands,i much prefer him to fumbling bumbling Tupou!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but looking back now Tupou would have prevented that try.
I still dont mind Oldfield,he is a liability in defence though..

      • Tupou was injured.

        I thought Oldfield was ok.

        • Now that Perrett and Anasta have gone we have new players that are the worst in the NRL. Hooray!

He was. The mindless hysteria on here is... is... like an old friend?

            • No matter who we sack, we seem to create newer scapegoats every year. We are the breeding ground for hack footballers. And they say we don't develop enough players. Graham Appo, Sam Obst, Brett Firman, Justin Holbrook... we churn them out.

              • We beat Warriors through a bad conversion kick and tonight we meet a team who didn't miss a kick. Life evens itself out.
We need to understand the contributing factors that led to this loss and minimise them

                  Enough of an explanation?
Yes your explanation is adequate, I can however see who is as dumb as dogshit and it aint Jake Friend or Martin Kennedy

                  • lol...that was an epic choke. At halftime we were in a position to make history then all of a sudden the team running last puts 24 on us. I guess when it rains, it pours.....ask RTS.

Anyways, it's not the end of the world yet.

4 Michael Oldfield (Much faster and not as stupid as SKD)

                      • We slipped into old bad habits that's all. The opposition got a roll on and we went back to the Brian smith version of the roosters.
Lets not write them off after that, Robbo will point out where it went wrong and fix it

                        • Yes, we led 16-0. We probably shouldn't have lost it but consider these (SMH website)...

                          - Cordner injured, rotation of 16
                          - Canberra have a big pack
                          - possession was 56-44 to Canberra
                          - we made 78 more tackles
                          - Canberra completed 16/16 sets in the second half
                          - penalties were 6-2
As a result, Canberra run 250m more

And they beat us in the last 5. It's hardly wrist-slitting stuff.

Unchanged team apart from Guerra for Liu - there are no realistic alternatives at this stage for SKD (2 pens, 2 errors, 2 missed tackles) - who seems to be down on confidence ATM. The SKD of even last year would have scored at least one against Parra. He is hardly the only one to blame for tonight.

Why would you drop Liu? He was solid tonight and last week. If anything we should be going with 4 forwards on the bench, Friend to play 80. Cordner to bench.

                            13. O'Donnell

                            14. Kennedy

                            16. Cordner
                            17. Aubusson (if he doesn't replace SKD)

                            • [QUOTE=kegs1;292954]it certainly wasn't cordners fault. that knock on didn't lead to anything and he wasn't on the field for the rest of the game.
                              [QUOTE]

The one he dropped in the first half...at the start of the game...there west went all our momentum...killed stone dead.

Then LOD did it twice more just for good measure...so we had to tackle and tackle and tackle some more.
                              Momentum-killers those two.

                                First it was all T Carney's fault...and Anasta's.

Mrs B-B said when we signed O'Donnell that he was a 'dead-loss'.

If Cordner's shoulder is no good he should be dropped and told to have the operation.

                                We need big forwards.
Why didn't we buy the forwards that Souths and the Raiders did?
