Agreed Hiowever seeing both teams start on zero points It is not impossible that Canberra remain scoreless for the entire match There ewas a match in 2009 we won in Canberra where they scored their only points after the bell Rnd 2 I think it was
I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Canberra have points in them. They play a pretty much all out attack game, similar to Parra in many ways. The key is restricting them early on and then getting them to self destruct. If we can do that, then we can put plenty of points on the board and keep them to nil.

Run at Jarrod Croker all day and we'll score all day.

And shut down their offloads. They have little to lose so they'll be offloading every chance they get.

          Chook.

The good is the raiders mindset. they won't want to be the 3rd team in 3 weeks kept scoreless by the roosters. This could mean the raiders chance their hand too much, rush things and make mistakes trying to score.....

It will be interesting. certainly not impossible.
Muzz i think youll find the boys dont really give a shit about the record, and are focused on a win...any win.

There isnt any pessure to keep them scoreless, although it would be a very unlikely nice surprise.

Ferguson being out is a massive blow to their scoring ability

Yeah I don't think you'll see the boys dropping their heads if Canberra score. It's just part of the game - you expect to be scored against, you just need to limit how many times. Obviously!

I find it incredible to think that it has been 94 years since any team has kept opposition teams to zero for 3 weeks in a row

Especially in the Warren Ryan era of the 80s when points were at a premium.

Jack Wighton is a huge talent and they don't lose much with him replacing Fergo Binks, as Raiders fans have come to call him.

                      Chook.

Wighton is an excellent young footballer, but he is in doubt himself. He still has to pass a fitness test before he can play, so assuming he plays he may not be at his best.

The Raiders, although currently playing crap, have still won their last 6 matches at home. There away record is abysmal, but you can never write them off at Canberra.

Agree with melon... i doubt it will even be discussed unless Canberra are nil at halftime and it will be used as an incentive by the coach to keep them hungry in the second half.

                            Word is Wighton is out.
Hodge or Milford may come in. Don't know much about them.

Milford has big wraps on him & is playing fullback in the NYC, he scored 2 tries last week.

Hodge is an unkown (to me).

Jarrod Croker is playing his 100th game.
