Maybe this should go into the Jennings Appreciation Thread (but unlike others I'm not that bored to troll thru looking for old threads) - but how good was that try was his. 15 meters out and beat 3 players with initially speed, then swerve and the strength over the line. And his one-on-one defence was great.

Great player and how fortunate are we for having him with us.

He was always going to score that try ...it was like he made up his mind that he was going to break his duck soon as he got the ball.

As good as his attack has been, I've been impressed with his reading in defence. When he signed with us, there were a few comments made here regarding he wasn't a good defender ...but have to say I've seen no evidence of that !

That has amazed me as well. Maloney and jennings were never seen as great defenders but I would go so far as to say that on the evidence this year, they are both excellent defenders.

He has made 59 tackles this year and missed 1.
Over the last three years, he has averaged just over 1 missed tackle per game.
Skiddy has missed 12 this year.
Maloney's defence was questioned also. This year he has made 64 tackles and missed 9.

Happy with the Jennings signing and will obviously be great and though happy he scored that one, I have to look back at how pathetic Parra were because by memory I think he pushed by 3-4 players.

Kenny Dowalls problem is that he continually lets faster men on the outside thinking he's got them covered for speed when he doesn't.

It's happening far too often that he's letting them make a half break and JUST dragging them down with his tradrmark jersey grabbing. It makes RTS think twice about what he's doing when all he should be worried about is sticking to his opposite winger.

              But hey, 50 FARRKEN ZIP!!

exactly! he is doing it to avoid the impact ... its not easy to do either, when you have to turn and change your momentum to grab a player, he's just making shit hard on himself to avoid a collision....he needs some mongrel and i thought sbw would get that into him,
                Fiddy Nil!!!!!
