Well done Sam Moa. I had never heard of him but he has been doing his job for us.
You have to remember rooster6 feels this years form doesn't count as per his comments on Lama Tasi. It all depends on 2012 performances. In the fair dinkum department only injury will prevent JWH from being selected.

Yeh proven class over long periods of time means nothing. Pick rep teams on a cyclical value such as form.

It's not like the former has worked well for QLD at all.

Kasiano is injured, McKendry is useless, Kearney's NZ job is on the line so he ain't gonna pick McKendry again.

Matulino is a must. Moa/JWH is the other must. Jesse Bromwich will give them a good run for their money though but Moa and JWH have been performing much better. SBW will be the other Rooster in NZ. I doubt RTS will get into the NZ side.

I suppose Skidsy will play if Inu cops a long term suspension though.
your on something if you think JWH wont make the side the bloke has been one of the best props going round this year

                No call-up for SBW?
He keeps getting better (club loyalty for a season and no rep injuries.)

Just because he's been good for us doesn't all of a sudden mean he deserves a position in the international side.

Lima was consistently overlooked when he was one of the best props for Melbourne so who knows maybe Kearney will select him but this is just a case of club fans valuing their own players performances higher despite superior or similar performances from players in other teams. Happens all the time when origin comes around.

                    Something to ponder;

                    Jeff Lima:
                    Avg Runs: 14.25
                    Avg Metres: 119.75
                    Avg Tackles: 15.25

                    Sam Mckendry
                    Avg Runs: 12.75
                    Avg Metres: 116
                    Avg Tackls: 22.5

                    Sam Moa:
                    Avg Runs: 12.3
                    Avg Metres: 109.6
                    Avg Tackles: 30.3

                    JWH
                    Avg Runs: 12.6
                    Avg Metres: 105.3
                    Avg Tackles: 34

I mean they're pretty basic statistics but it's not like Moa & JWH's performances are exceptionally great.

I guess we'll find out when Kearney picks the side, at best he'll get a bench spot. I don't think he's a certainty though and certainly not the first prop picked.

Jwh and Moa have a much better workrate than McKendry. Before Sam Burgess got suspended Lima was a bench player. Lima has only played 1 game in the starting 13.

More tackles than the others (30+ on average) and average metres > 100 per game. Nothing wrong with that in my view.
