Freddy is once in a life time player that clubs dream of having, why continue to make the comparison?!Originally posted by Johnny. View PostNothing Pearce does seems natural. Freddy made everything look like it was done with hours to spare. Pearce looks like he's doing things after overthinking them.

I dont think he is comparing the two players There is no comparison to make One is a legend of the game The other a a slightly better than average 1st garde halfback whos skills woiuld be better utilized coming off the bench as a replacement for Friend The point I think he is making is great players particularly halves seem to do things naturally I agree with Johnnys observation in that Pearce does not seem to do things naturallyOriginally posted by Julz View PostFreddy is once in a life time player that clubs dream of having, why continue to make the comparison?!I respect all our moderators here. I wanted someone else to answer it though :POriginally posted by Kingsgrove-Loiner View PostGreat question.
One. Thurston.
Certainly not the mug from Souths, he's not done anything yet to convince me he's much better than Pearce.
Agreed, Reynolds only has a short kicking game but the push is certainly on for him to take over.

Cronk is a manufactured player playing alongside the same blokes at club and state level.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View PostCronk Thurston young Kelly from the Titans Carney spring straight to mind without having to think to hard
Kelly and Carney can hardly stay off the lash long enough to string two games together.

He would need a minder in SOO.

Cronk has always done a good enough job of taking the line on with a dummy and getting through Mind you Pearce has been afforded that same apportunity now three times at state level with a NO 6 being picked from the same club to accompany himOriginally posted by Kingsgrove-Loiner View PostCronk is a manufactured player playing alongside the same blokes at club and state level.

Kelly is a natural and your comment about Carney is ridiulous Despite his obvious issues He has been around carving up other sides snice about 2006 nowI respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Take slater and smith out, cronk has gotten smashed, and if I recall twice by Pearce during that time. Invalid argument imo.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View PostCronk has always done a good enough job of taking the line on with a dummy and getting through Mind you Pearce has been afforded that same apportunity now three times at state level with a NO 6 being picked from the same club to accompany him

Once again in origin he is playing behind those same blokes.
Carney is a creative player yes but can't organise the team and if he does it takes away from his brilliance, why he hasn't reached the heights he did in 2010.
