Not sure what you lot saw, but LOD was bloody impressive for me tonight. He's light years ahead of the usual suspects we've had in the back row over the years (FPN, Guerra, Aubusson, Arona ect ect). The old stooge made more meters than anyone in the pack tonight and looks like he hasn't lost a step since leaving the cows.

Sonny Bill/Jennings may be the high profile signings, but LOD will go close to our best buy IMO.

Lukey boy has never been a line breaking, attacking back rower. I'd rather a hard working back rower that moves like a "snail" than a lazy bigot that does sweet F all in FPN. You must have enjoyed watching the surplus underachievers we've had in the back row over the years.

If LOD makes over 100m's and 15-20 tackles he has done his job in my opinion. Which he did tonight.

Not every player can be Billy Slater and the like. He worked hard and that's value enough.

over the years we havent really had backrowers that broke the line either so in answer to your question no. agreed FPN does SFA but like i said would have prferred hoffman or lewis or even another aubs but with a bit more mongrel.

He wasn't playing in the back row and you're extremely rough on Aiden Guerra who has been a fine player for us.

Very strong tonight in slippery conditions. JWH was outstanding and let from the front, but Moa wasn't far behind him. While we're on forwards, Cordner was really great and Maubs came close to forcing FPN to the bench.

Moa was 2GB's man of the match.

He's really surprised the hell out of me so far.

Agree he went well. Wasn't happy with signing but last night showed signs he could provide some balance and grunt to our pack.
