Well, as I see it, Morts has got a run in both games so far, so I think Robbo has already shown his hand there. It's not as if those games were against timid packs either, so I can't see us reverting to a 4 forward bench anytime soon. I would think the LOD & Aubbo have cemented their places for now, so unless Cordner is not fit, on form it really should be between Guerra & FPN for a spot.

But, I don't see Guerra as a lock. His value is running wider, much like Aubbo, but on the left. In reality he can only be competing againt SBW, Codner & Aubbo in the 2nd row rotation. (I'm assuming LOD will continue to play tight.) On that basis, he will struggle to make it back into the 17, at least on current form. While I think Cordner could maybe play tighter and start in 13, relegating FPN to Newtown and alowing Guerra back in, it does seem a little bit of a waste of Cords talent. I also think Robbo is a bit of a FPN fan, and will certainly persist with him for a while longer yet.

Guerra will get game time, and will most likely have to wait until Cords pulls up badly, or Aubbo has a quiet game, before he gets his next chance.

Guerra and Maubs are very similiar style of players (hole hitters and ball players) except Aiden will do his share of the dirty work hit ups whereas Maubs doesn't. Guerra also has a better off load than Maubs so I'd expect him to take Maubs spot when fit.

      Chook.

It's simple if the coach knows what he's doing, SKD to Newtown, SBW to centre, am seeing alot of players not winning or holding onto spots judged on form, already after 2 rounds, now I wonder where we seen that before.

This is not as silly as it sounds, definitely add an intimidation factor to that side of the field which is currently lacking, stiffens up the defense on that side , gives SBW a little more space and keeps him out of the heavy stuff until he is match fit and adds a bit of height to defuse the aerial attack when it comes. SKD gets some time to work out some of his problems, win win win.

SBW should have loads more impact the wider he goes. We have enough players to do the 25+ tackles and 15+ hitups a game without SBW in the backrow.

Much like a jennings who only does 5 things a game but 4 of those 5 runs are deadly. Imagine the chaos in the defensive line if a fresh SBW was charging at the gap between centre and wing 5 times a games. RTS would have a field day.

            Just daydreaming about it now.

For mine, it's between FPN and Guerra for the 17th jersey. We need a dummy half off the bench simply because Friend is painful enough in 50 minutes let alone 80 (and Morts hasn't been too shabby so far). Midget Moa impressed me last week enough that he's definitely in the starting pack. Friend, JWH, then whatever T-Throb decides to go with at 11, 12 and 13 (my call is Cords, LOD and SBW, however it's likely going to be Cords, SBW and Aubs). Either way, as soft as Kennedy is, he's still better than Francis Paul.
