We went to a wet New Zealand and managed to come up with the goods. The type of game and conditions meant our middle men had to step up and for the first time in however long ALL of them did.

SBW was quiet, but he did his job. Hurrell did nothing in attack, a stark contrast to last season, and Williams played a big part in that. That ball to Jennings was just a little glimpse of what he can do as well.

Big fan of Moa I must say. Not a big guy by any means but gee he runs hard and often. I think he likes the collision.

          Nice post R6

and Roostarz, you are spot on, the forwards set that game up.

but the thing i liked was that Pearce and Maloney were working as a proper half - 5/8 combo, i mean working on the same side of the field with Pearce as first receiver and Maloney throwing the money ball (see SKD try)

We need to continue with that, it is the only way we will see Mini stay out of the play and hopefully more success.

To mini's credit, rock solid under the high ball.
