How amazing is the feeling of relief when Roosters are infront by 6 or less on the scoreboard and the full-time sirens goes off and play stops.

Good win, should have been more comfortable still think jennings was a try, but don't kid yourself getting 2pts off the warriors in the wet at home is a tough assignment regardless of their form, they really would have wanted that one.

Are you seriously saying we have, on our books currently, another hooker and 1/2 better than those two to play first grade every week this season mate???

Pearce and Friend are crap. I'd play Maloney at half, I'd have Mortimer at hooker and play SBW at 5/8. Why not? ATM we have a pretty ordinary spine. I can't see us competing with the top teams.

round 1 we looked good for 15 minutes.
round 2 we looked good for 50 minutes. there is obvious improvement.
however due to a minichiello knock on, we lose all the momentum and nearly lose the game.
normally im buzzing after a win. im not tonight, we went too close to losing that game.
            anyway, a win is a win. there are plenty of positives, but the one negative remains;
minichiello is a burden to the team. he needs to play on the wing as best.

I am yet to see Mortein or Baloney do anything better than Pearce mate. All three have lost GFs, are limited in aspects of their games and aren't much better or worse than the other.

We do lack an out and out freak in the spine, I agree there.

Wouldn't it be easier to replace Mini than reinvent the wheel???

Look at Souffs, look at what a great player at the back can do to a limited spine.

Maloney is a better goal kicker than Pearce mate.

A win is a win - as long as we learn along the way - the game is longer than 50 minutes.

Did u guys forget that it was pissing down for the first 30mins infront 32,000 screaming NZ fans,,
U baggers cant expect fancy plays and swift ball movement in conditions like that plus we r still gelling as a team when it comes to combo,,,,but i think our defence was brilliant they only scored from a kick,,a knock on & from dummy half,,,,,we looked more patient and when we picked our time to attack we scored or nearly scored

                      Well done boys overall 7/10

How many real attacking sets did we have inside there 30m, not many.
An ugly win is still a win and there were improvements from last week like the impact our bench had.
I saw a little more discipline from the usual offenders, there's another improvement.
1-1 is better then 0-2 people. Bigger and better things to come

I would probably like to see them try Pearce at 9 I think he would be a squillion percent better than Friend at that position and give Maloney and Morts a go in the halves, weren't they the halves combination at that Manly trial which we won.

Pearce also copped one hell of a cut in his face in the first half. I don't think that would have helped his game.

As for the result, a win is a win. If you think early season form is any kind of indicator for the rest of the year, I have this to say:

                            28 March 2010: Canterbury 60 - Roosters 14.
