SBW will be better for the run. He'll do well in front of his native land, of course I'm going on the racehorse theory that some perform very well second up.
Overall I think the Roosters will do well this week. I tipped us through my heart last week and as much as I hate to admit it Souths are a good side and will give the competition a shake.
Look on the bright side, things could have been worse; Anasta could have been wearing the No.11 for us - worse still the No.6. Maloney too will be better for the run. He was a bit tentative at times but he's considered origin class.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".
It really worries me that Mini is the bloke that is running off Sonny. He couldn't catch a cold. If you SBW's union highlights some of his offloads are unbelievable but they don't always land in the bread basket. Mini will drop anything that isn't there. I'd have more faith in Henare Wells to make the most of Sonny's offloading ability. RTS needs to work on his support play a lot. Imo Sonny should be playing on the left edge while Cordner is out. It would be deadly with Jennings and Maloney running off him!!

Yeh hopefully Maloney is following him around the pitch all game.
Already SBW put Mini into a half gap and he dropped it ffs. Willie Brown would offer better support.
The last couple of seasons mini has dropped a lot of ball in attack. There are a couple of reasons why a first grade standard player drops footballs but in minis case here are my thoughts. It appears to me that mini is taking the pass at full pace. There is no margin for error when you do this, the pass has to be perfectly floated in front of you and at chest level. The safer way to do it is to take the pass at a reduced pace and then accelerate thru the gap.Watch the replays the ball is hitting him on the hip, bouncing off his arm,he overuns the pass, if hed ease off a bit on the speed that he is trying to catch the football he would catch a lot more of them.Mabye he is doing this to compensate for a lack of acceleration who knows just my opinion.

I think its simply a case of Mini looking at the gap or the defence and not watching the ball.
Pearce and Anasta's useless passes, ...bullet-like, along the ground, in front of, behind, to Mini and other players cost us a lot of possession and momentum in matches.
Anasta's gone, but Pearce is still here.
Hopefully SBW won't be offloading the ball just for the sake of it.
