  • SBW for jets

Meant to post this the other day but ive been mega busy (btw happy birthday farian!).

There was an article in the local paper here in the gong earlier this week saying that sbw might be playing for the jets against the cutters at win stadium today. Apparently the club sought clarification as to whether a firstmgrade bench player can backup for the nsw cup and it was approved. Obviously filtered back to the cutters and hence made the local papers here.

Anyone know he will be playing?

Bad idea if he gets a season ending injury.

If its his own idea it shows how much he wants to do what it takes to get as much match practice as possible. terrible idea for mine, but it might be a sneaky way to get a bigger attendance to the match while he quickly develops a stomache bug and pulls out.

He is the perfect centre, we are a centre short, it's not brain surgery

I think he could play centre easily he has the speed of a 3/4 but it would limit him to one side, a roving lock is a better option for him.

Only problem him being a roving lock is Friend will need to make 60 tackles a game. Then more people will rip into him because he's tired!

                        Hello maubsworstnightmare, how goes it???

Maubs played well on Thursday night mate. 2 line breaks, 4 tackle breaks, 28 tackles, 0 missed, 80 mins.

Why are you so anti him all of a sudden???

And maubs did in 80 what fpn guerra Kennedy and arona couldn't do between the 4 of them all game. What's your point?
