It's all about the motion of your arms I'm guessing, Aidan Guerra's
hit was a perfect example. Sonny Bill will have no problems in dropping players with this technique!

It's a ready made Telegraph controversy.

They're going to be looking at his technique very closely.
This will most likely be the most problematic issue with referees this year. They are going to struggle to be consistent in their rulings.

Simple solution: bring back the shoulder charge.

I apologize for going way off topic, but it is big news and I want to take the focus away from SBW tackling technique as I believe it is a non issue.
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

        Here's looking at you, kid.

I've been watching some rugby big hits and one thing stood out. A lot of the tackles were front on driving tackles where the player ends up past the "horizontal" but lands on his back. This would be a good tackle in league 10yrs ago, but now is a lifting penalty more often then not. I think the powers that be need to look at this rule again since shoulders are out.

          what u guys think?

Given SBW's pectoral issue, i'm not too sure he will run the risk of putting a legal shot on. If he sustains a reoccurence of the pec injury then he's out for a long time

Here is an example , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lu1KtRqo_Ns

I have a feeling the refs are going to stuff up on this a lot.
He's been playing union where the shoulder charge has been banned for yonks!!! SBW will be more used to the new rules than others if anything!
