Don't get me wrong i think we are leaps and bounds better then we have been in years judging from those performances. However IMO the two teams we dominated will be in the bottom 4 without a doubt. The tigers pack is probably the 2nd or 3rd weakest in the comp ad manly is t far behind ( at least without Ballin king and Stewart however they don't help them too much)

I'm holding judgement until round one against a real team in a real game (when two points are on the line)

In saying this with our depth, roster and coaching staff I know we will prevail

Their pack struggled last year. Now they have replaced to 80 min work horse backrowers with and injury prone unproven impact player in pettybourne and a player who does sfa and wants to be a 5/8. I'm putting money on it.

Look I have wanted anasta to go every since he disrupted Freddy and refuse to play backrow for him. Peaople say he was a great captain but he wasn't as he destabilized the team re carney. An ambassador for the club maybe as e has a hot gf and can articulate better than most but a waste of space for seasons now. Best thing the club did was get rid of him. We are so lucky to have got rid of our captain. I thought he was going to retire a rooster and wreck the next 2 seasons.


That being said I have great faith in te playing group we have now and the one coming through sg ball and NYC. I just think we will have a better measure of where the group is premiership wise against a team who is actually contending the premiership not teams just making up numbers. Unfortunately faith is all w have at the moment. Come 930pm on 7/3 we will have street cred also after smashing those over rated red and green posers.

If we are going to have a disappointing season then best enjoy trial success now while we can.

Hat to say it, but souths are a real deal team this year, easily one of the best top4 packs. its not going to be easy, & if we do win, it should be a good indication of how good we are.
