I agree. They are farking horrible. Get your act together Fittler2004. Nobody wants to read your new gangster vocabulary or whatever it's meant to be. It's giving me a headache.

Back on topic. I think Sonny Bill will play the first game against South Sydney but off the bench for round one which i think will suit him. Get the sting out of the game for a little bit and unleash our off-loading/damaging back-rower in the game.

As for LOD, i thought he had a fair game. He didn't make any mistakes and he had a few strong runs but was given limited minutes.

The guy has been in the country for six days and has trained maybe once or twice. TR was going to restrict his minutes in this trial.

I see the best value for LOD is coming off the bench and playing 10-15 minutes before half time and maybe a stint after half time or around the 3rd of the game. He's contribution needs to be simple. Hopefully he can ramp up the training and be even better for round one.

I wouldn't go with ODonnell, he isn't up to the pace of the game and I would only give SBW 30 min off the bench. Souths pack with the addition of G Lima will be primed and hungry to hurt, they are huge and out to prove a point, why risk two payers who will be short of a gallop and fitness, go with the tried and proven round 1.

Guerra really is starting to look like Morley's twin on the field. With Guerra and Cordner in the team we will always have decent back rowers on the field.

Moa...lots to like there. He's the player we were all hoping Mose would play like.
Last night was the first time I've seen Mr Moa play, I liked what I saw as well. He rarely got dominated in tackles and seemed to get quick play the balls more often than not. It's early days and that was an ordinary tigpies pack. Hopefully this will continue against the better sides.

he always bumped the first defender off too.

We went off the boil when Moa & JWH were replaced. Hopefully with the addition of Kennedy & one other (Tasi when fit/LOD? - Evans/Napa/Liu all a bit raw perhaps?) this can be alleviated. Maybe Moa needs to come off the bench because his go-forward will be needed then.

Was pleased with our defence but seriously - we weren't threatened. Souffs will be MUCH harder. Like it or not - they have a decent side with some guns in the pack. We will be stretched in that middle 40 but here's hoping...

I would go with Guerra & Cordner playing wide with SBW playing tight & interchanging him with LOD & have Aubusson interchanging with the backrowers, FPN & Morts would be my other 2 reserves.

Im still nowhere near convinced on Friend. Morts was heaps better than him last night.

Isn't SBW sort of wasted tight? Maybe if we had Slater at fullback but our strike power is out wide.
