Interesting to see young Siejka in there - massive talent but to be in the trial squad is big news for his prospects. Same goes for Langi who is that bloke we sacrificed the perretts for - he is obviously already showing why he is such a quality young player.
Interesting to see no Evans considering this is largely a kids team or does this mean that he is seen among the 'first picked' props.
Good to see Mortimer given a game.
Also interesting to see Cherro in there - considering he is 'being released', I cant understand why we would bother picking him - obviously he is staying put which I think is the best result for all.
Pretty standard in terms of young fringe backs but I am pleased the club has kept faith in young Wells - I really do think he has great ability as a winger or fullback and Id like to think he is being groomed to play either wing or fullback when Mini retires because his explosive speed, finishing and skills are excellent. Many on here will also be pleased to see O'Sullivan and Rokolati picked - Im not an O'Sullivan fan but Rokolati certainly has promise.

EDIT - Also no Symonds - is this a sign he is on the outer especially considering cherrington got picked?

Has the Manly side been named yet? I'll be going up on Sat night with the kids, hope this young side doesn't get hammered, I actually always hate playing Manly, really hope they name a young side too.

Evans has had a few niggles in the off season hence not named for this trial, he may not feature next week as well

in regards Cherro the club will continue to play him until it is official he is leaving, don't read too much into the fact he has been named for this weekends trial.

anyone heading up for the match that will be able to provide updates for interstate supporters that can't go.

I'll probably do a full report again like i did for last season's trials mate.

I won't be there so this would be much appreciated.

Hey Roz, just on that, I remember last year that there was a debate here on the pen that he was far too skinny and wouldn't come good unless he bulked up. Did he play much footy last year and has he bulked up in size much from last year ?
                              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
