any significance that cherro/symonds dispatched on country carnival promotion tour

I find it interesting with all the speculation surrounding the likes of Cherro/Symonds/Taka in regards the LOD deal that Cherro/Symonds are the ones picked to spend a couple of days in the country as part of the NRL country carnival promotion.

surely the club would be better served sending the likes of Moga/Tasi who are currently injured.

for the conspiracy theorists out there it would seem that one way or another Cherro/Symonds won't be either at the club too much longer or are not considered as players likely to play first grade this season.

although I can understand why Robbo wants to put his stamp on the squad, surely there is a better way then releasing several younger players to get an aging LOD for one season just to free up some cap space for 2014.

Either way Symonds can go as far as I'm concerned. Cherrington I would give one more season to see if he can produce something and/or not breakdown.

Moga and Tasi probably are heavily involved in re-hab. That's probably why they didn't go. At the end of the day the club has to send someone. I think you may be reading too much into it mate

And apparently there maybe a deal to send Symonds on a "loan" deal for 1 year where he returns to Bondi in 2014

Moga and mini went on a simar trip last week. It's rotated through the squad.
