What a great clubman, 8 months away on tour, these cry babies now days , complain about being away a month, we need to find a team that we play , that we can call the Ferris Ashton Trophy, similar too the Ron Coote trophy against the Mixo's, and the Anzac Day Trophy, against St Merge, maybe now Stuart is at Parra, we can get something done with them .RIP you Easts legend, you have earned your rest.

From now on they should have a medal or trophy - named in Mr Ashton's honour - for man of the match on ANZAC day.

Some great suggestions from you guys, particularly like the Ferris Ashton Stand with Lest we forget on the bottom for the Anzac Day game. Also someone suggested a game with another club being played for the Ferris Ashton Cup, I'd quite like the Manly v Easts game be played for the Ashton Mossop Cup, it'd be just like the old days with Ferdie & Moose neither giving an inch.
