There is no way they will let Moga go anywhere. In saying that, moga is not a walk up start into this team. Braiths wallet is right. His mental application is ordinary, which maybe can be put down to his age. His intensity and involvement has also gotta lift.

Physical attributes are only half the package. Soliola had a great physique as well, but was not a real smart player.

I think moga will come back on the wing.

What if the cost of retaining him was not signing Jennings?
      Yes.
I truly believe that Moga is that good.

spot on mate he has to come back on the wing he is no way near a centre spot and at this very early stage of his career its the best place for him.

I agree mate. Very catty in defence at times.

            Hi John Corey,

I agree with your post and analysis. I would like to remind everyone of young Roger Tuivasa Sheck's attitude and in particular a few moments of determination such as a desperate try saving tackle in the corner during a very tense match against St George. These are the things that TauTau Moga has yet to display and in all honesty he has at times shown quite the opposite such as not chasing in defence after a missed tackle or not putting in any effort defending his goal line.

As disappointed as some of Tau's efforts were last year, his defence was made to look worse than it is by the lack of urgency and also the terrible structure in which he played. You could have put best defensive centre in the game in our back line last year and wouldn't made difference with our lack of structure, cohesion and application across the board. Look who he was defending next to for the majority....

Tau comes back in 2014 on back off strong offseason, spends next two years outside Jennings in a structured environment and he will still only be 22 and a 50 game player physically and mentally ready for centre at highest level. Needs to be brought on appropriately on the back of last two years (2012/2013) effectively in and out of game.

I admit his defence was ordinary... but defence is attitude... and last year I don't think the poor bugger really knew what was going on.

He has the makings of a folau or inglis...we haven't had a centre in that mould since i can remember.

The thought of young talent like him and rts in our squad is mouth watering.

Bryan Fletcher obviously thought highly enough of him to become his sponsor. That is endorsement enough for me. Shame about this season though. I was really looking forward to seeing him play. And seriously, who didn't defend badly in our squad last year?

He is 19yrs old people, relax.
Only the extremely special and gifted players excell the moment they start playing first grade, they are few and far between. Give him time. I have said it before its 18-24 months before he gets back to 100% fitness.

Tau will be an extremely dangerous player for whoever he is playing for in a few years time in his early twenties.

He's still got heaps of learning to do. What he has are things you can't teach.

Rest assured, up here the Broncos are waiting for us to blink so they can swoop in, sign him, and reap the benefits.....

I think the kid has some obvious talents. He looks the goods.

IMO he is no Inglis. He doesn't seem to have the ball playing skills or the organizing skills or the kicking skills etc. Inglis is a different beast, a true freak, an athletic footballer, a rarity. He looks more Folau to me a talented athlete.

What I think some, me included, wince at is when fans automatically assume Moga is/was guaranteed a centre spot this season before his injury. I believe it will take him time before he moves into the centers, time on the wing to learn the game. Very much like it did with Folau.

It's true some blokes instantly look the goods when they take the field in 1st grade. Moga didn't but that RTS kid, man he looked like he belonged from the moment he ran out.

IMO Moga may make it big in RL. IMO RTS will make it big in RL.

Now we have Jennings onboard, I doubt if the club will rush Moga now, they'll bring him back via The Jets, and if the first grade boys are doing the job, they'll leave him there, to fully get the knee right for next season, and his confidence, back in it, and his intensity improved apon, ther้'s no need to rush him, at this stage. SKD needs to have a big season, he is the centre, that has the most to lose if he fails to fire again this season.
