He didn't take the easy option and punch the bloke like many at our Club would have. He made the tough decision to walk away, when his first instinct would have been to throw a punch back.

If the younguns at the Club follow his lead, there are better times ahead.

As he and Erin, well it just shows that you never really know someone until you've lived with them on a fulltime basis. Nothing like domesticity to bring out the cracks in a relationship.

    NC
Says alot for his mates and relos, if i was there i would have clobbered the bloke, gutless coward, but good on braith for walking away, he is a great bloke and will be a great mentor for our young guys coming through.

On Erin, well i told her she had to choose, i was sick of sharing her, i was sick of her cooming home un satisfied after being with zoolander, so she chose.

She is cooking my roast now!!!!!!!!!!!!

In fact, I put him on the level with Fitzy.

For some animal to king hit him is a disgrace.

It will get to the stage that these guys will be afraid to socialise anywhere. The problem will then be that everyone thinks they are up themselves.
Totally agree JT, terrific bloke and always happy to have a chat, esp about anything away from footy, its amazing what he actually does remember you telling him.

Caitlin is a bit sad about him and Erin.....she said she will give him a great big hug next weekend......might make him feel better......

IF it had of been the other way around the media would have the incident on CCTV. Wonder why they don't bother doing it for this case?

The story in the DT even starts off with: "ON THE surface it seems a classic NRL bad news story - the footballer, the night out and the drunken punch. "

          Classic....

its just lke the junior sau story where he saved this young kid from being bashed at a party. apparantly he was driving a long and saw a bunch kids bashing this girl. he stopped and saved her. and he did it without any violence

Braith should have smacked the bloke.
                Agreed John.

As JT said it wont be long till the players from our game will be forced to avoid the public, especially in the pub/nightclub scene. It happens in most other pro sports in other countries, players have to VIP it.

                You know it makes sense.

as others have said Braith is one of the Nicest and Humble people i have met !

I bumped into him once at an event at the charring cross hotel, had a chat to him, he actually apologised to me for the teams perfomances !! I told him, in a nice way, to shut up as he had nothing to apologise for.

Thats how sincere and humble the man is. I can see braith tolerating this fool because thats the way he is, this other idiot obviously did not take the hint.

I hope the club supports braith and does all they can to have the gutless buffon charged with assult, because i can tell you now, the guy who hit braith would be one of the first to find legal counsel if he was attacked by a sports person or celebrity.

Braith, i can only commend your attitude and self control in this situation !!!!!

After the Tigers game he spent half an hour outside the tunnel talking to fans and signing autographs.

It is worth noting that he truly loves this club and desperately wants to play his career out here.

Whats funny is if Anasta fought back in his defence he surely wouldve received suspension longer then what Greg Inglis received.
