  • Kingswood coaching clinic

Just back from the Kingswood Sports coaching clinic, and I must say it was pretty disappointing this year.
The day was scheduled to start at 4pm however the players didn't arrive until closer to 4:30pm. There were
Only half a dozen first graders who attended, along with 12 or so fringe or NSW cup players. Every other year the
majority of the first grade squad attended barring injuries. To finish it off the signing session had no team posters for the kids to get signed. Based on previous years sadly this year was below par.

    Good.

It means they're focusing on football instead of having to put up with some of the regular groupie dicks that they put up with at every single function.

It would be OK if it was just for the kids, but the desperates always **** it for everybody.

Some people's behaviour astounds me. They're just people ffs.

Greedy, you have a valid point there, but some of these guys are heroes in the eyes of younger supporters.
at the very least, the club should have 1 or 2 days where fans can come and meet players, get their jersey signed and a photo taken. have a clinic for 3 or 4 hours, then get back to training.

I thought it was ok. The traffic coming out from the city was at standstill so I know the guys got caught up in that. My son loved it.

As I said, it would be fine if it were about the kids, but a few carry on like bigger kids than the little ****ers they just drove there.

It's like a ranking system sometimes on who's the biggest desperado supporter.

x2. Everyone was late, no fault of the club, the Parra Rd/M4 crawl was a nightmare. The Berkeley one is end of next week from memory. Lack of team posters noted Sop, the little things like that make all the difference. I remember Kingswood and Berkeley were both on the same day not too long ago...now that was a Leyland Brothers excursion lol

Yes, high school in the 90's - No, not an Easts boy.

Western Sydney when I was very young but mostly Central Coast.

Lived in Rose Bay for a year when I was 18/19 and loved it but that shit was too busy for me.

You are right, the arrival time was out of their control. The lack of "first grade" players was simply disappointing owing to the expectations from past years. And you're right about the little things, my young bloke has collected the poster every year for some time and was disappointed not to have them there this year, for him it will just mean a heap more work this season getting as many players autographs as possible at games.

Cool. You remind me of my old school mates and began to wonder if you might be one of them.
