very true. hopefully one day, the rest of australian sporting codes catch up.
league has a long way to go before it can be compared to the AFL.
and even though i have a soft spot for soccer, no one in aus really gives a rats either.

In 1998 the average AFL membership per club was only 8k...League has not even scratched the surface and our per club average is well over that.

Will take time but our numbers in 10 - 20 years is what our game should be judged on.
those figures were in '98, HH, its a lot stronger now. and i agree, i hope our numbers are a lot stronger and more consistent in 10-20 years time.
im sick of seeing only 6k members sign up one year, then 12k the next, then 8k the year after. too many fairweather fans.

make sure you make contact when you're coming to Henson. I'd like to meet up and have a beer with you mate.
The Jets draw is not too kind around May, June. There is a home game on the 4th of May and then the next game at Henson is 22 June. Hopefully that suits you. Cheers.

I reckon you'll be sweet but best to email em membership@sydneyroosters.com.au Why wait til July? You can do the flexi for $75, includes tickets to all games from July 1 onwards and if you do it online you get 10% off.
