"To many dicks to the face" Rothfield, i cant believe this guy still has a job, his voice sounds like his balls have been squashed in a vice and his reporting is second to none and not in a good way.
Cronulla have that many outside backs and forwards there is noway in hell they could have fitted jennings into there side.
I wouldn't mind getting ben pomeroy across if he gets limited game time with the sharks, great defender and tackle buster.
Well done chucky rothfield good luck reporting " Carney on the booze after injury "

So that's...sign Jennings who Phil wants to let go because he Jennings, according to Phil was, para; "a poor performer who refused to take any responsiblilty for losses"...or some such words.

          Then there was this;

          http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/spo...-1226114094536

ALREADY dropped, fined and tossed in the Last Chance Saloon for rolling up to training blind drunk on Thursday, Panthers star Michael Jennings last night endured the ultimate humiliation.

          *

Callers to the radio station later alleged that Jennings had been spotted in Kings Cross on Wednesday night. The Telegraph understands he was in the company of another Panthers player who wasn't selected last night.

Jennings will play fullback for feeder side Windsor Wolves in today's NSW Cup clash on the Central Coast.

          ##### #####

Everyone makes mistakes, especially the young.
However, if we do sign him you'd hope someone at the club, coach Robinson and others, can mentor him into success with us...on and off the field.

Hard to believe anything at this point. Just have to keep your fingers crossed and see what happens. Having Jennings is just a bonus and gives us some more fire.

With or without him the Roosters will be a competitive club this year regardless if we sign him or not.

If all were to play as centres, order the following from best to worst. SBW, SKD, Jennings, Moga (and BJ for argument's sake although he's gone.)

You rate AV below $BW who hasn't played RL for 5 seasons??? And below SKiDmark who is a yoyo when it's comes to form???

And BJ below Moga who couldn't chase and tackle the opposition twice in his few 1st grade games, and stepped aside to let the opposition thru to score on more than one occasion???

                  The FlogPen .

                  You know it makes sense.

If we miss out on jennings Sheck will partner SKD in the centeres until Moga returns from injury. But im tipping we do get Jennings so what then happens to Sheck? He is not a winger that was proven in the couple of games he played last year Tupoe went better on the flank than sheck.Mini will be loathe to give up the fullback jersey to sheck especially now hes the el capitano. So that leaves one of the most exiciting young talents in the nrl in limbo.Thinking about it now i reckon $600k for jennings and having sheck mabye playing half a game as winger and 20mins fullback dosnt stack up.Take the chance robbo dont worry about signing jennings stick with the young fella i reckon he very well might be a revelation at center that step will have opposing 3/4s having heaps of problems containing him and with 2 speedsters on the wings running off him we will be ok imo.

$600,000 for Jennings for one season?

And he's only available because Gus Gould, who basically built our 2002 GF winning team, wants to see him gone from Penrith.

                      Hmmm.

Personally, I wouldn't be having RTS getting 'bashed up' by the opposition in the first half of games just yet.

Moga has suspect defence, I wouldn't be playing him in FG until he can tackle.

Jennings will be signed for atleast 2-3yrs,,,so after this yr when mini leaves sheck will play fullback and moga will learn his trade on the wing and then be shifted into the centres once either skd or jenns goes

Your probably right mate. TBH i don't see Jennings as a long term prospect. He can't imo grind out during the tough times, like a lot of other class players can. Cordner and JWH for example, played in a bad team last year but never let their standards slip. Jennings is not that sort of player.
                              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
