I think this maybe the fastest backline we have ever had. Oldfield, Jennings, RTS(with footwork), Possibly Moga when he returns from injury, even SKD is no slouch.

I can only think of guys like Sing, Phillips, Mini in his earlier days.

Harris and Brass were before my time, as was mullins but we haven't had the quickest of backlines during the 80s and nothing during the 90s.
    Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

Yes mate, bee sting in 1988 @ the Dullbogs.
I think Hagan in 2001 @ the Noughts (could be wrong).
              Ricky in 2002.

The breakout season posted for me will be giving less penalties dropped ball ,better defence with a team who can score tries

                  Jenko.

The comments from Cleary have pissed him off, he's going to take his game to a new level.

Pity you never had the pleasure to see Brass And Harris they were the best centre pairing the club has had since their playing days

I hope the ballboys & cheerleaders have a breakout season.

I think the ballboys & kickoff tee boy (replaced the sand boy) should wear what they used to wear when I wanted to be a sandboy, What they used to wear was a white footy jumper with the Roosters emblem on the front & then on the back the word EASTS, the letters were in blue then red, blue then red, the white shorts made out of cotton with the inside hip pockets so you put a little piece of foam in there to help playing on footy fields with cricket pitches in the middle & the Roosters socks plus your boots, I wore Adidas.

Being the sandboy for me was better than being the ballboy, the sandboy used to get to run out onto the field that the big guys played on & give the sand bucket to the Roosters goal kicker the ballboy stood behind the post & attempted to catch the ball on the full. Anyway the club should look seriously at what I have just addressed.
