Without the obvious comments about Mini that is pretty exciting. If Mini can play within his limitations rather than trying to do everything he may well go alright as well.

That's been his downfall for the past 2 seasons....trying to do it all & just plain getting in the road.
And if this does eventuate I think it's his combination with Pearce that would cause the most headaches. Probably off the field too unfortunately.
Yak, you don't think this might smarten them both up? It would have to be the last stop saloon for Jennings (on big $$ anyway) and while Pearce has not been in too much trouble many are sick of waiting for him to shine. With thhe new coach seeming to be a no-bullshit guy and the addition of SWB and his unrivaled professionalism we might really get the best out of these guys. Also don'f forget, winners are generally happy and with our team shaping up the way it is they seem likely to be winning quite a bit over the next few years.

Exactly. If he can just keep it simple he may do okay. He has been good at various times over the past 3 seasons. There has just been a lot of shit in there as well. Too much dropped ball, getting rag-dolled on kick returns and the ridiculous attempts at playmaking.

I agree if it happens it looks nice but Mini is shot mate. We all know he will be there in some role but he is done. Young kids like Tupou, Moga and RTS run rings around him now.
Also wasting Sheck's footwork on the wing would be a sin, in attack he must play fullback. If there are concerns with him lasting a full 80 at fullback they should defend him on the wing when he needs it. The Dogs did it with Barba it can work.

Cheers Gman. Although I can't see it happening yet tbh, I mean schuey hasn't even approved sbw's contract yet. I wouldn't mind seeing him in our colours but how can we possibly have Jennings without losing more of our players?
We should head into the 2013 season roughly 1.2 million dollars under the salary cap. With the cap due to rise a further 500k in 2014 and SBW only likely to stay here for another year that leaves us with roughly 2.2 million dollars to play with for 2014 and beyonds.
