He was doing alot of the talking at training on saturday i also met him a couple of days after he arrived from NZ seems like he'll fit right into our program.

I honestly reckon people are overstating the impact maloney will have on our team. Maloney will be a handy replacment for Anasta, but let face facts. Anyone would be better than the him.

The team was always going to step up this year. We had a young squad with a coach with no direction. The year older would have done them a world of good, and with a few structures in place, the best is ahead for this squad.

This part I like about him. He mentioned it in his interview that he's annoying habit is telling blokes what they should be doing on the field and around the sheds. Sounds like captain material to me.

We will go from having one half to a halves pairing. In a well coached and enthusiastic side I think Maloney will be a very handy player. Also I think he is lucky in that he is going to go under the radar a little with so much attention on SBW and due to the fact that last year wasn't a standout year for him. This is great considering how much focus he would have had otherwise.
