A few very good and entertaining hits doesn't make a first grader. Mose was never consistent.

Incredibly strong carries followed by incredibly stupid mistakes

He will do well at Penrith,

We have a few young bulls coming through

Decision would make much more sense if FPN wasn't on our books.

He should have been let go first.

I agree with you but I must say I thought he was at times our best forward this year. Even though that wouldn't have been hard.

Two of the same IMHO. If we are going to have a tilt at the premiership we can't afford any players who won't give in 100% week in week out, especially when other clubs have superstars in their forward packs who do a good job every week. Since 2010 FPN hasn't strung 2 good performances in back to back games. He plays one good game followed by 5 bad ones. I'd be very suprised if we resigned him next year especially with Cordner and RTS off contract and demanding more money.

Cordner has shown this season that he can consistently play good footy, as has JWH. Guerra is another who continues to suprise me. I though he would be finished when he got injured and was stuck at Newtown a couple of years ago. But last year and this year he has definitely been one of our better players particularly on the fringes of the ruck and he is definitely a firstgrader.
              Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

If he was in the budget for next yr I would have kept him, I would have liked to see how he went under the new coach..didnt he have a neck problem??

Nah that was the neck of his seatpole on his quicksilver BMX bike that had a problem.

The Sydney Roosters have today announced that subject to NRL approval, Mose Masoe has been granted an immediate release from his contract to join the Penrith Panthers.

Sydney Roosters COO Football, Brian Canavan, said: “Mose has a lot to offer the NRL and the club’s decision to grant him a release was based on what we consider in the best interest of his long-term playing future.

“Mose has come through the Roosters junior grades and been a wonderful contributor to the club both on and off the field, and he leaves with our very best wishes for the future.”
I'd say we sacrificed Mose to get the $BW deal over the line..I expect the Shuey to rubber stamp it now..

Mose may be capable of some spectacular moments but his engine won't let him do it on a consistent enough basis to be of value to us..

                      Nice guy though..

                              It begs the question....

Wtf is Cherrington still doing here?

As my old nan use to say, "that bloke must have been kissed on the dick by a fairy, the lucky bugger".
