Hey fellow penners,
Lost my version of the video "spirit of bondi" which was made in the late nineties, and cant seem to chase a new one up. think it only came out on vhs back then! Hoping someone converted it to dvd and wondering if someone had a spare copy! or know where i cld get another?

Ive never heard of it. Doesn't look like anyone else has either.

Yeah i cant believe no one has replied or heard of it either patchie.

It was released in either 1999 or just before a 2000 gf. it was narrated by tim webster and went through the history of easts, was about 70min long. we would put it on before the delayed matches so that we had something to do so as not to hear the score before match was shown on telly. i bought it at easts leagues when the shop was originally in the club. being vhs my mates copy became unwatchable from overuse and lending it to others, mine was still a good copy but know it is gone?? Wanted to convert it to dvd before it too was beyond watchable.

Think it was released about 1997, because I seem to remember that it ended with comments how we've changed our name to Sydney City & finally made it back to playing semi final football with Brad Fittler recruited.
Yeah I would'nt mind buying the cd version too ....I've also misplaced my video copy

I still have my VHS copy, had a player that could convert video to DVD but that is stuffed up at the moment, still have a few old games which i want to convert over from VHS too.

Try the NRL Video shop. They probably have it on DVD.
