I'm no guru but can remember doing lots of aerobic work during off-season and more explosive work during the season. Could explain this?

It's not great detail but if you're really interested ask some questions on twitter or through the website, he seems like a genuinely good bloke.

it would be sickening to see the likes of Evans/Bosden/Symonds/Cherro/Alomai/Moa/Oldfield/Tupou/Napa etc, rotting at Newtown when the likes of Mini/FPN/Maubs/BJ/Masoe or anyone else stinking it up in first grade with the golden ticket much like Anasta had for the last 5yrs.
The first group of blokes would more than likely get the jump, and rightly so IMO, they have proven they can play regular first grade, even though they didn't have great years in 2012.

The second group of blokes would more than likely start behind the first group, and rightly so IMO, as they have all shown glimpses of pootential but haven't proven anything as yet, and realistically may never.

Form is something that comes and goes. EVERY player at some point will play below his best. IMO what sets the truly great players apart from the rest is their ability to quickly recover from a form slump and to reach the heights they previously have.

IMO Bwaiff never did anything much. I never saw what many others did when he signed and he was consistent in his averageness thru out his stay at our club. His form was always average at best, IMO.

Surely everyone will be judged on how they train and the coach, like EVERY coach, will pick blokes he TRUSTS to do a job for him. When/if they fail then that's when we see the worth of a coach. We see if he has the sac to tap an established 1st grader on the shoulder and move him on. It also depends if the club has the depth to be able to replace an established 1st grader that's either in a real rutt form wise, or finished.

      The FlogPen .

      You know it makes sense.

Can't see that happening, Robinson's too smart for that

Don't think Oldfield for one will be anywhere near Newtown, he's a class act
