I think he can play but he is to inconsistant for me. I think his best position is FB but I dont think he is the best FB for NSW. I mean Mini is still putting his hand up but for me if Brett Stewart is fit & firing I would have him at FB for NSW with big strong Hayne on the wing but being told to get fully involved. A wandering role in attack.

Yeah I rate him very highly. It has been a while since he had that amazing season but I think he will come good. I think he is a natural leader on the field and has stuggled with having to downplay his role and act humble. IMO he is a player that you could build a team around. Having said that I will get a laugh if he wins another spoon.

Hayne's the best fullback in the game currently imo, he just hasn't had the fortune to play for Melbourne or QLD.

Some of his performances last year for the Eels were up there with the best performances from any player in the competition, his supposed 'inconsistency' is a reflection of Parramatta not Jaryd Hayne.

To be honest Rooster_6 I dont watch him play much so you would have more knowledge on him than me. I think he is a good player but not consistently enough.

The best player will always being in spine. In da old skool days however: Dally M(centre) and Meninga got Dally M 1990, centre.

Its hard nowadays to get a Dally M or to be in the top 3 best players if you aint a spine player.
