  • we were initially scheduled to play Broncos at suncorp easter long weekend

just reading an interview with Ted Hellier on the Roosters website and he was asked about the clubs disappointment that they were once again not playing a game in SE QLD and his response was interesting, he was of the belief in the initial scheduling we were to play the Broncos on the easter long weekend at Suncorp.

I wonder what happened to change that matchup.

Ted knows his stuff and will be a massive part of the club over the next few years. Good interview. I'm disappointed no games are being played against Brisbane too.

i think the reason was because 2 events happen on the week end every few years so the canned it. easter and anzac day or something like that

who gives a shit about the drongos, they are scared of us and dont want the humiliation of being flogged on their home turf.

their fortrees is nothin now but a sandtrap.

            Chris,
What is Ted's background and pedigree? I know nothing of him. Was he the youngish looking guy at SBW's press conference?
Is he ex player or administrator for another club?

Ted is a good man and a Rooster fan through and through. Its great to have a Rooster man promoting the Roosters. Think how easy it is to promote a club you love.
Thats Ted. We're lucky to have him. And no, I'm not Ted.

                    Teds Dad?

It's a real shame about missing a game at Suncorp. It really is a great place to watch the footy.

i dont know what you guys are complaining about. the less we have to travel, especially interstate, the better i say.
i remember the draw for 2010 had us only leaving sydney once in the first 14 rounds or something like that
