  • Robbo $7 to be first coach sacked...

The Daily Astonisher, in their off-season boredom, have framed a market on the first coach to be sacked.

    Steve Price - $2.20
    Matty Elliott - $5
    Trent Robinson - $7
    Ivan Cleary - $8

right through to Dessie at $101..

    Fascinating stuff....

I actually believe that Robinson is good value at $7.00, especially with the prospect of Bellamy lurking.

Price is a special, Saints only kept him for next season, because Bellyache wasent available, turn an easy $1000 into $2200 withjout raising a sweat.

I think Bennet might be one of the first. Ol' Tinky boy might not be able to afford him and he might give Stony the job back. It'll save him some big bucks and make it easier for him to back out of his deal with the Knaughts.

If Tinkerbell was to sack Judas Bennett,he would still have to pay him out.Bennett would sue the club for it all.
This alone should make Bennetts odds of being sacked next year 10000-1

Yeah, no matter what happens to the Tinklempire, the club has a $20million bank security, so Benny will be getting anything he's owed even if he was sacked, which would make it pretty stupid to sack him.

$7 they are kidding. IMO Robbo's job is a safe as a bank. He would be the last coach sacked.

The reason for that is because I believe Robinson is going to surprise alot of people with how he turns the Roosters around over the next few years. I like what I am hearing & seeing of the club since he has taken over.

Robbo will at least be given a year no matter how badly he goes. There are other coaches who will be given the flick way before robbo.

Price for the Merge, Elliott who all the players hate, and Furner who has his moments, are all closer to the start of the firing line than Robbo.
                          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

If that bloody dressing room goes missing again, Robbo will be in deep trouble!

It wont mate. Robbo Taylor & Fitzy are going to bring pride & spirit to the club. It is already happening.
