What I like most about those pictures is that our discipline seems to have improved as has our completion rate. I didn't see ONE dropped ball. I'm liking what Robbo is doing already.
Not much talking going on though. Very quiet. I guess they haven't named a captain yet.
We are gonna win the comp for sure, based on these pictures alone.

Hence why I called him a myth, it's got me stuffed how he's picked for those rep teams, when I'd be hard put to pick him in the Raiders FG! Look I'm with you when you talk about front rowers having the toughest gig, they have nowhere to hide, but just because that's their job doesn't mean they all do it as well as each other or every pig is as tough as each other, every time I have seen Shillo play he has frustrated the hell out of me for such a big bloke, he folds every time he hits the line, that's all I'm saying, anyway at least it's not like he's our problem anymore.

Don't worry when he was at our club I used to get frustrated by the Tontine one aswell, I never thought he'd rise to the lofty standards of rep footy.

I think it was in the pictures of the Roosters 2nd pre season photos that someone asked if Iosia Soliola was in 1 of the photos in which someone else replied that it was him & then when I looked at the photo more closely I realised it was him.

It didn't get any interest from anyone but it got me thinking why was he training with the Roosters in the full Roosters kit if he plays in England?
Why would the Roosters allow it & why isn't he training with his English Super League team?

Can anyone fill me in?

I also find it strange that he is also kitted out in all the Roosters gear & he doesn't even play for us anymore.

That doesn't mean that I dont like the idea of an ex player training with the team especially ones that only ever played for the Roosters, I actually liked him it was more just the curiosity of why he was training with the team.

Simply, to stay fit in his off season. It's so easy to get out of condition being on hols & back in your old stomping ground with family & friends.

Oh how I yearn for the days of Soliola and aubo in the centres. Between them they scored quite a few trys, at least 8 or 9 over a 3 year period.

I remember Brett Hodgson trained with us before the 2010 season and he never even played for us! He was allowed to use our facilities and in return he taught the Drunkard Bogan a few tips about playing FB as that's where Brian wanted him to play in the early rounds. And it benefitted everyone.

It's just an arrangement that coaches, players and clubs come to if it suits all parties. I reckon if Sia is willing to keep fit while he's in Aus on hols then good luck to him. I'm sure there are insurance arrangements in place and it's all good. And they've probably given him a Roosters kit for old times sake.
