some very good ponts made and as usual easts get thew raw end of the stick! until every team plays each other twice its a farce!if it means bringin in central coast and perth into the comp well bloody well do it!

Fairest draw would be determined by how teams finish on the ladder the previous year...
Teams that finish 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th etc play each other twice & play teams that finished 2nd, 4th etc once...
Teams that finish 2nd, 4th etc play each other twice & play teams that finished 1st, 3rd etc once...
Add 2 byes each & you would have a 24 round comp...
This way you don't play all of the top teams twice while others play those that finished lower on the ladder twice...
Everyone plays an even amount of top & lower teams from the previous standings...

Also, if you played a team at home last time you would play them away next time...
This would be most helpful to interstate fans that haven't seen them for a few years...

All teams should be allocated the same amount of fta games but i doubt the nrl & tv stations would agree...
