I will always respect and admire Fittler for the tremendously talented player that he was. That will never change.

But as an individual and character, I will admit that I have lost some respect and regard for the bloke in recent times.

As for Fitzgibbon, he is a true legend who has always put the club and the team before his own personal goals as a player. He never had the talent of a Fittler but had the commitment and the passion for the RW&B that puts him in the upper echelons of Roosters legends in my opinion.

Always gave 100% in every game he played and never a hint of off field scandal. You couldn't fault the bloke and the way he's conducted himself in any way, shape or form.

He will create a big gaping hole in our team and our club when he leaves in 3 weeks. It's just a real shame it couldn't be under better circumstances. The bloke deserves so much better than he'll receive.

I just hope his team mates really put on a stellar performance with him against the Cowboys. Anything less and they should all hang their heads in blood disgrace.

Basically. After Anasta was injured, we put Jones into 5/8. And I thought he did really well. He gave us a few more options, set up a few more tries, and took pressure off Pearce. I also really rate Jones' short kicking game. He has the ability to get us repeat sets, whereas I think Pearce struggles a little bit there. So all in all, I thought Pearce/Jones combination complimented eachother really well

But Fittler decides to change that, AFTER we win a game! Not sure why, but it was obviously to accomodate Huaraki and SKD on the wings. Even worse all reports from within the camp pre-season were that wed trained all off-season with Bwaiff at 13 and Jones/Sa at 6 but after ONE trial Freddo shat himself and changed it all around.

That sort of indecision and panicked changes indicates to players the coach has NFI. Players without confidence in the coach usually end up playing like chooks with their heads cut off. Thats Easts 09 to a tee.
