i can point out the players that this will affect already, marty kennedy will take it to heart as will maubs and mini, maybe cordner might get something out of it roger will take it on board, skid will enjoy but go walkabout in his mind, pearce will think, this doesnt apply to me? jake might enjoy the challenge!

All those names on the wall and not to many "smart" footballers amongst them. We need a tough team, both physically and mentally. I don't care if these pricks can't spell their own name, so long as they run hard and don't sulk when shits not going their way. Manly seem to have done okay and I don't think anyone would suggest that their is a scrap of intelligence in that lot.

Can't recall the last time I've seen a paint job win a game of footy.

            The FlogPen .

            You know it makes sense.

Big Marty will be playing origin within the next two years, I can guarantee it. He is a real talent and I hope that our club doesn't get side tracked and let him go, like they did with Pillow.

Maubs is a good player, but has been the victim of a Head f**K this year moving him from centre to backrow every 5 minutes. He is a genuine backrower who has a good ability of hitting through holes at speed. He loves our club and has been at our place all his career. I hope that he stays till the end of his career and wins a premiership with us.

All our young guys will take this to heart but also JWH, whom I hope one day has the Letter C next to his name. He loves our joint and most other players respect him.

Pearce I worry about. He is the victim of unrealistic expectation with most coaches telling him he will be the next andrew johns. In some ways his overhyped ability has benefited him, with his salary especially. If we are to keep him after next year, it may be to entice Carney back and get our old mojo back, if Baloney was to fail in 2013. Pearce is not worth what his price tag states and if we were to spend a little extra we could buy a much more valuable player.
                  Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

Last time we made a GF we had one of the smarter footy brains in our side. Last time we won a GF we had one of the smartest footy brains of all time in our side. Do you need reminding who they are?

Melb has Smith. Manly has Lyon. They play their footy smart. Yes they have the toughies around them but the drive is the brains. Speed is the biggest thing in todays game and it doesnt take toughness to have it. Its takes smarts to know when and how to use it.

Get a good mix of both however and you will not go wrong!

i think our new 5/8 might just have a few brains , noit ij the league of freddy, but overall, with the ability to direct a team around the paddock and to close out a win or two!

Cant help but be impressed by Robinson even at this early stage. He realised that the first step was to bring everyone together and he is obviously being aggressive in this regard. The fans will be there for him too if he can continue to cultivate the passion.
