Notice how he kept calling him "Sonny"? I wonder if that's cool or whether it's a massive faux pas that will see the change room lost? ; )

                Surely it's "Sonny Bill", "Warea-Hargreaves" and "Tuivasa-Sheck".

I don't know if you're taking the piss here (even with your lol at the end) so I'll refrain from telling you to fark right off.
If you didn't know what I meant by saying "without consulting Google" then you needn't have replied to my post with a totally irrelevant reply.

Actually when I speak to him I call him Sonny,
On the forum I prefer Sonny
If you ever talk with him one to one you will understand

Also, JWH's nickname when he was growing up was also "Sonny" as all his mates reckon his shoulder charge was similar...

Also, Mundine camp have ditched Sonny in the lead up to his fight because Nasser & Choc are in a bitch

But yes, Mickey, so long as they're all training the proverbial house down like they do every year. I suspect the Storm (and 'Dogs?) might all be training a block of flats down instead.
Training the house down means you are on fire. Get it? Not sure I do either. Robinson is very protective of Pearce. I think he is looking to take some pressure off him. (Smith always liked to keep the pressure on). The trick is to keep the focus and intensity. They obviously have a good relationship and nothing would please me more than to see Pearce have a boom year and sign a long term deal. Not sure about the captaincy though. I agree with Robinson about the half being a leader whether captain or not so we should look to double up.
I would love to see a forward put his hand up. Do we have anyone appropriate? I just think that the forwards will be the key for us this year, if we can get someone in there to take the captaincy and lead with his heart it would do us the world of good. Cordner is definitely that man in the future but a little green at the moment. I am wondering whether Robinson has SBW in mind.

Early last year Braith was "training the house down" and was on fire. When the season started though it was a different story.
                          Comment of the year:

Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,

"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"

LOL...every club says they are 'training the house down'..that's what they tell all those reporters anyway when Fox Sports does those summer specials in January when they check in to see how the clubs are tracking.

Yeah, you can't really tell how a pre-season goes until you start playing games and measuring yourself against the opposition. A telling factor with us is that a very important element within our squad is being introduced very late. SBW will have to be very fit in order to play through the year considering he wouldn't have had much of a break since going to Japan. I am fairly confident he will be fit enough at the start of the year but he might find it tough as the competition rolls on. The time without him and what we do will be crucial. I think the coach has no option but to come up with a plan that does not involve Sonny Bill which will be a good thing, because I am not expecting him to play every game. He becomes much more important to us in the knockout stages should we make it, simply because of the x factor he has. Hopefully he is there at the end if we get through.

There's your problem....he burnt himself out too early! Hope the new missus got a better result on their wedding night!
