  • Most muscle bound roosters

Ive got a couple that come to mind.
That bloke a few years ago that spent most of his time at Newtown.
Got to firsts and freaked out.

Then there was the Bulgarian weight lift Carney.

Of course, the inspirational Ian Rubin deserves mention.

I kinda liked Hermannson and Lowrie but Hermo was pretty massive in comparison to his counterpart.
    barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

Todd Byrne came to mind straight away. Physical freak of nature.

I seem to remember that the young FPN, playing in the front row, had some ridiculous numbers in the weightroom.
It's scientifically impossible for Easts to be in Souths' shadow when there's daylight between them and us.

Korkidas was the first name that came to mind on seeing the thread title.
FPN appears to have shrunk since his early days.

They occasionally survey NRL players to determined the strongest players. Kennedy made the list a couple years ago with a 170kg bench press.

                  SBW even stronger.

For all his other flaws as a footballer, mini is still fairly ripped.

If you're looking for pure bulk, Kennedy is the man. Although I wouldn't be suprised to see him sustain a pec injury, they seem more common with the bulkier players these days.

                    Chook.

Was reading a piece on pec injuries a short while back & the common thought seems to be that this is due to more weight work in the gym. These sorts of injuries weren't as common years ago because the weight training was only done in the off season. Now it's pretty much all the time.

Sounds like someone is already feeding the toe toucher one, already.
