    Lock is his position
    Agreed.

It would be alot scarier for the opposition knowing he could pop up anywhere to drill you instead of just the left or right side of the field.

but realistcally are we spending money on $bw or investing in him. i think when we know that we will know exactly where to play him.
as an investment he would be used sparingly to maximize his abilities from a second row, or if its a 1 years spend flog him in the centres as the number 1 go to man atleast twice in a set.
sheck is an investment as well pearce, while anasta and mini are and were spending.

If people have watched any RU you would realise he is quite skillfull for his size and has the speed to play from the back.
The guy was a FB until he made grade. He would have started his career at FB if the Storm never had Billy Slatter.

SBW is a completely different player, he is a backrower or lock & thats where he will play. Mark my words.

SBW is essentially a backrower in League but could get away with moonlighting in the centres.

Fullback would be a disaster and waste....if some of you think Mini is slow and immobile for the position...just wait for SBW.

What position does every other team play their best athlete? Fullback!! Imagine the power and strength of him running the ball up from the back. Sure he probably isnt the most conventional fullback but he doesnt lack speed and playing at fullback would mean he sees more ball than any other position on the field.

And honestly we dont have any great options at FB, sheck will be good in a few years but is too young atm, and we all know Mini is past it.

Anyway, this idea may seem a bit crazy...thoughts?
Mods ban this guy for thinking of this silly idea

This is the most ridiculous comment I have ever read. SBW at fullback????? Surely you are a fisherman.

Was one of your old aliases Fowl ?

Greg Inglis was an accomplished fullback previously at Melbourne Storm and was not receiving any ball from fat David Taylor in the centre position.

When was this ? Inglis had played with distinction at fullback for Melbourne in his rookie year

Inglis played a lot of his junior and senior football previously in the Queensland Cup and for Melbourne at Fullback.

I remember seeing him on the ABC playing fullback for Norths devils and thinking "who the hell is this guy"

                            He was also their goalkicker

I'd like to see him in the centres.

SKD's defence ought to get him the arse.
