Well Greenberg was the one who first said it, like he's this amazing marketing guru who could conjure up this full house at Homebush, I reckon they may have got 45 - 50,000, but full houses are restricted to SOO's, GF's, Olympics & maybe a decent Bledisloe series, but that's about it, blow it your ass Greenturd, you too Rothwit!!

It would be 39,500 dullbogs fans and 500 very brave rooster fans who would turn up, no more than that. If you ever needed any proof of how discredited rothfield's journalistic skills are, then look no further than that estimate he makes up.

As I just said previously, the figure of 80,000 came from Greenberg initially.

Turnbull has my vote, if he was ever to lead liberal again.

He's our very own shillo, the one we are kicking ourselves for letting go.

                    I don't think so.
                    It's hardly a grudge match.
Maybe for the dirty dog fans but hardly for the players.
Bring on the Rabbits in Round 1!
Also, last time we played the Dogs it was at their home ground. Surely next time we play them it will be at our home ground.
                    And 80,000 crowd....no chance!
Most of current dogs are his kiwi team mates
                    Not a grudge match

Funnily enough Ben Barba is the only first grade Dogs player left from the year SBW walked out.

                        !
From memory it was reported a few months ago that Barba was the sole remaining player from when $BW was at the club.

                        I found this

NOT everyone at Canterbury is enraged by Sonny Bill Williams's imminent return to the NRL. Bulldogs flyer Ben Barba still holds out hope of one day playing with the dual international after timing conspired against him four years ago.

Barba made his first grade debut for Canterbury against St George Illawarra in round 20, 2008 - only 48 hours after Williams walked out on the club. The plan had been for Williams to act as Barba's bodyguard.

So as far a I can tell, that's a NO, mate.

                        You know it makes sense.

It seems everyone has a say in the scheduling of our first game of the season but us, doesn't the club have a say in it ?

What if SBW isn't available for round one and we did end up playing Canterbury? What a waste that would be. I'd rather we played Souths in Round one at home thanks.
