**** off, now I won't be able to go to the game. Thursday night football and channel 9 can suck my dick.

Thursday night will do me fine. Great excuse to have Thursday & Friday off work, and perhaps even Monday for good measure, and treat myself to a very long weekend. That'll probably be my first days off since the Xmas break. Celebrate (hopefully) the start of the footy season.

Souths fans will turn up. I am tempted to fly down for it and have a wknd in Sydney. Any sth east qlders keen for a trip?
I'm keen, but I'm already locked in for Anzac day.

Mate they love it, it's the best lead in they could hope for, 7.30 kick off means it's all wrapped up by 9.30, they can even cross back to Sterlo for a wrap up if it's a great game like they usually are, a ratings boom!

Awesome! And big up yours to Todd Greenburg and his feral mutts!
Doubt I''ll be able to get up to Sydney to see it live though being a Thursday. So I'll have to rely on the TV.

Yeah I'm happy enough with Thursday night. Friday would be better, but promoted correctly it will be absolutely massive and they should go all out for a crowd of 40k.

And I am also very happy that Greenburg didn't get his way. Would've been an outrage if they were to benefit from SBW's return in that way. We're the ones who are bringing him back, so we are entitled to the financial rewards.
