I may not like the bloke but i have never doubted his work ethic.

He loves to do the dirty work, get stuck in in defence, all the shitty jobs hookers and forwards do, no your halfback.

When he is the go to man 1 or 2 passes wide, he has time to think, which is far from his forte.

The bloke is quick and could wreak havoc around the ruck.

His kicking game would benefit, esp short kicking game, esp if he ran to the line.

IMO if moved to hooker, he would succeed Cam Smith in the Kangaroos hooking role.

There's a massive difference between doing 20 odd tackles a match and manning up on back rowers once a set compared to having to regularly make 30-40 tackles a game, get to dummy half for every play and still have the energy to create opportunities. He might have the attributes to be a good hooker, but I don't see him as an option there until we have somebody who can rack up the same numbers he does as a 7
