Boyd had a break out year in 2012 establishing himself as a regular first grade player with a series of incredibly tough performances.

The 20 year old dominated a number of his more highly fancied opponents throughout the year and was a stand out player for the club in a number of occasions in 2012.

Cordner also captained the victorious NSW U/20s side in their inaugural clash midway through the season.

In summary, it is safe to say that Cordner was one of the biggest highlights of season 2012. [Roosters website]

One of my mates is a member of the Sharks and visits their forum regularly. The talk there is that Carney will finish his contract at the Sharks and head back to the Chooks in 2014
