Marketing have modelled this initiative from the AFL.
The marketing fella mentioned this at the Members Forum in August. Following a research trip down there he acknowledged how well AFL clubs rewarded their members base for continued loyalty particularly the inner city clubs.

Good idea. Perhaps some sort of key ring or memento to signify which 'club' you are now with. Not sure if this is mentioned in the letter as I saw if very vriefly walking out the door this morning.
This will be our sixth year as members. Not sure what that means or who I become, but its nice to be recognised and rewarded.
Good move. If its the AFL we're copying, then thats fine. They've got the membership thing down. If we can get a slice of that, its a good thing

I'm a Jack Gibson member as well, thanks to their inaugural generousity in ignoring the fact I wasn't a member during 2008 & 2009 (the Wanka years).

Only taken them four years, I called up marketing in 2009 and told them how as a hawks supporter each year I get my supporters scarf it has the number of years you have been a member, I was to.d cost to much to do

Im an Artie Beetson member in regards to length of time following the Roosters but I am only eligible for a Jack Gibson membership.

I signed up in 2002 the week before the GF so I would be able to get into the club to watch the game on GF day.
