I loved that intercept, if you can call it that, from Slater on Morris in goal when he leapt over Morris. People might hate Slater but credit is due for his talent.

Oh and did I mention that I don't like Perrett anymore? How about that stare he gives after someone dares touches him while scoring lol.
I couldn't believe how they just withstood attack after attack and when the bombs came in to the wings, they knew how to defuse them. If only we could play with that.

If we could shut teams down, we wouldn't have had those last minute heart breaking losses this year !
We might be able to next season, with a new coach, and some new players who can tackle.

Sure it wasnt very high scoring but it was very intense. The O'Neill try pure perfectiom. It was very intense especially when the Dogs made a break but for Slater to bat it out. A see saw contest. Awesome

cant wait to see my bulldogs/collingwood supporting mate.
dogs minor premiers across all three grades, not one premiership, heck even the roosters took home more silverware on the day then they did.
also his 'beloved' magpies got knocked out by the eventual premiers the sydney swans!!

to top it all off, inu goes 0 from 3 with three different clubs across 4 years. hate the prick.
and i feel a bit sorry for pez, he deserves to win a comp, but not at the dogs.
The roosters didn't win jack. newtown took silverware. Don't confuse the two.

                True!
Although the team is peppered with our first grade players, the die hard Jets supporters would not acknowledge this as a Roosters lower grade win.

How fitting was it that the last Melbourne try was scored as a direct result of Perrett going a mile inside and leaving his opposition winger totally unmarked.

Perrett is useless in defence, and proved it yet again.

                    LOL
Melbourne peppered the other side for most of the night
I was telling the better half that surely Melb would put up a kick to Sammy's side.....sure enough, it came.

Not perretts fault. His job is to jam in with Inu and let barba clean up any sweeping players or kicks. It was pin point perfection by Smith and close to undefendable.

Perrets biggest stuff up was blowing the Slater intercept at the very start of the game. Might have been a completely different game.

Well if that makes you happy...
Then again the Storm were rushing quickly all in the second half, the only difference was that they knew how to cover that players position.

He was still an important part of a GF playing side and got the ONLY GF points for his team. Well done Sammy P.

Agree. Sammy was the "good feel" story in 2012 but next year IMO he'll be behind Tim Lafai and Steve Turner and will only feature if injuries occur to their backline.

His brother Lloyd is who they wanted.
