The only 3 I'm giving a chance as head coach for 2013 are Robinson, Taylor and Gus.

Craig Bellamy should be the Roosters’ first choice
http://www.theroar.com.au/2012/09/06...-first-choice/
"You may recall my article back in August, suggesting that Craig Bellamy and Brian Smith would swap clubs in 2013.
Considering the fact that both coaches were contracted for the next 12 months, you may have thought it an outlandish statement, but yesterday’s sacking of Smith has opened the door for Mr Bellamy to start looking at real estate in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
Bookies have already installed the Roosters’ Toyota Cup coach Jason Taylor as the odds-on favourite to replace Smith as head coach next year.
They have listed some 19 possible candidates, but have probably missed the two names that club chairman Nick Politis would most like to see carrying the clipboard at Moore Park next season.
There is little doubt that Craig Bellamy should be the first choice, though he is unlikely to give next year any thought until the Storm have completed their 2012 season. Bellamy is currently committed to another season in Melbourne, but if he asked for a release it could be granted.
If Nick Politis cannot coax Bellamy to Bondi, then Plan B is likely to be the Roosters’ former assistant coach Trent Robinson, who has taken Super League club the Catalans Dragons from the cellar to the finals in his very first year.
Robinson worked under Brian Smith as his defensive coach when the Roosters made it to the grand final two years ago. He is a very impressive individual who, like Bellamy, never leaves a single stone unturned.
Plan C would be to sign former Eels coach Stephen Kearney for 12 months on the understanding that he would become Craig Bellamy’s assistant – again – when the Melbourne coach’s contract expired a year later.
Kearney was Bellamy’s assistant in Melbourne and the marriage worked well for everyone. The other bonus in having Kearney at the Roosters is that he is Sonny Bill William’s childhood hero, and Williams is only contracted for 2013 at this stage.
If all else fails then maybe the bookies’ choice, Jason Taylor, will be considered.
Meanwhile, I have changed my mind about Brian Smith – he will not be considered for the Storm’s coaching role, with a stint in the UK a more likely option."
Sign former Eels coach Stephen Kearney for 12 months......got to be kidding.

Thank you.
I can most likely guarantee Bellamy will be here in 2014 the latest.... I think its just down to if we can get him here a year earlier

Haha Melon you really dont like Bellamy ay ?? I reckon if we do sign him you might just be the new Fred ??Originally posted by melon.... View PostI keep telling youse bellamy is asking for too much. I cant see us paying overs for that hack.
But I did hear that apparently we have already got Bellamy for 2014, we just waiting for Storm to finish their season to announce it. Apparently it was a case of what uncle Nick wants, uncle Nick gets....
Just look at it this way, having Bellamy here will help attract stars to our club and retain players we want.

He's playing us and looks like Bellamy is playing whoever you bug to get info from.Originally posted by fred68 View Postkeep saying that we wont be getting bellamy. I am enjoying reading it and will enjoy reminding you later about it.
Name your 2013 coach....if you really know....
You cant can you? because you dont know. My opinion is Bellamy will not be here and I have good reason to believe that as each day that it passes unannounced we push Bellamy further away.
if I had to name a 2013 coach it would be JT if he sticks around, or Robinson purely as a one year trial to then do a full apprenticeship under teh 2014 coach....unless that coach miraculously starts in 2013.
if you fluke it and Bellamy does come, great Ill let you feed me humble pie.
But if not....you can go hang out with yor best mates Walter, Cooper, Massoud and Rothfield and ponder on what could have been.Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.

I said I doubt he is coming and I doubt Nick will want to pay overs for him. Its not impossible, but my reckoning is we cant be that stupid. Or maybe we are Fred. Maybe our management is stupid enough to pay bellamy 1 million a year? What a waste if it was true. Thankfully I think we have other options.Originally posted by fred68 View Postmelon thinks that he is no chance of coming here.Alcohol never solved any life problems.....then again neither did milk.
