Last time my "wishful thinking" worked out right for Easts in the coaching stakes.

I do think though that if JT does get the gig he will go too well for us to shaft him after just one year.

OK, so does anyone have the inside goss on who will be coaching us next year? There is a lot of talk about Jason Taylor, which I would be for, but surely if the club was going to head in that direction an announcement would have already been made. Surely after the season we have just been through, Smith couldn't go around again next year. If so, get ready for another bottom three finish.

Anyone got the real word as to what is happening?

I didnt realise that smith is also coaching in japan....

He'll probably get better coaching and discipline from some random Japanese rugby union fanatic than Smith. I have no issues with him going to Japan

Was thinking the same thing....Whats his first grade record? We don't need an up and coming coach. We need someone with experience in winning the major trophies. Tired of being called the 'foundation' club. I want our club to be called the premiers, every year.

I want Bellamy here too but he comes of contract next year. Alot of yous want an intern coach like Taylor. Dymock is one too and has experiece under Hasler. He will bring his innovtive ideas from the Dpgs to us. When he was in charge of the Dogs for a short period of time he was a success they missed out on the 8 from points difference. He is also assistant for NSW. I rate him above Taylor.
