mini had another shocker, apart from a try he was terrible, unsafe at any speed a useless attempted head high on barba! in goal fumbling, in goal fwd pass, how much worse does he have to get? i say drop him for the rest of the season!Comment

We weren't much of a side in 2010 either, it was actually the worst thing that could happen to us going that far into the finals as everyone thought it would just happen again the next season as well.Comment

If you think Carney carried that team you're deluded. Was he instrumental, sure, he's a playmaker. However a lot of our players had a good year. Aubbo, SKD, Pearce, Ryles, even Braith had some really good moments. It was a team and he was the cream on top. 2011 wasn't so great with him was it?
However I agree with the point of the post. 2013 can be a good year if Smith, Anasta and Mini leave. We would have then eliminated all the crap from our post-premiership era of shitness. SKD, Pearce, Aubbo ect. still have the talent (somewhere) to be placed in a successful team system and thrive. The rest of our players (bar a few under-performing forwards) are young enough that all the bad habits this team has developed can be weeded out.
In a good system and under a good coach I honestly think players like JWH, Cordner, RTS ect. could really grow into their undeniable talent. It's a matter of finding the right man to unlock it and use it to best advantage.Comment

Not really our squad is full of duds. We get better players next year who will completely change that like Carney did in 2010. I want a pro active coach(Hasler, Maguire, Bellamy) who give their team the edger. Our club has alot of money but goes towards pockets of board members. We should spend it on sports science like Souffs. Storm, Manly and Bulldogs do.Comment
