I had to laugh when I read that the dogs had only won three penalty counts all year. After a quick check yep you guessed it, one of them was vs roosters

The Dog's losing their penalty counts so often is a deliberate tactic they have used all year, most of the penaltys they give away are when the opposition are attacking in their 20 setting up for a play/try.This gives the Dogs time to settle again, get their defence set and back themselves to hold the opposition out, also knowing that most times the opoosition won't go for the 2 points. Also when the penalty count gets too lopsided they might get a couple themselves later to make it look better with the refs, gaining some easy yardage.
if ever there has been crook reffing in a roosters game it was round 19 2010 roosters vs bulldogs at sfs.
anastas 200th
kimmorleys 300th
I remember the game vividly. Aubo went over in the final few minutes to screw the refs out of a bulldogs win. From memory when I got home from the game and watched a replay, even Gould thought it was a stitch up!

That game is in the top 3 best games that I have ever been to. That was the most frustrating and yet amazing games that I have been to. That refereeing was so blatantly rigged that it wasn't even funny. The best call was the anasta no try and the forward pass he threw that went a metre backwards.
Comment of the year:
Andrew Johns, Semi-Final vs North Queensland ,
"It's touched Lui's hand and travelled forward but that's not a knock on"
Basic scenario,
Canterbury kick off.
Roosters kick on 5th after questionable defence, in front off ref for all 5 tackles.
Canterbury play the ball on 4th tackle, and maxwell gives off-side penalty against Roosters, setting the standard for the night
I hope it doesn't happen, but it will.
